Located
in Sehwan Sharif are the remains of an antic Shiva temple and of the Kafir-Qila,
a fort reported to have been constructed by Alexandre the Great. Currently,
Sehwan is famous for the resting place of the great mystic poet, saint and
scholar Lal Shahbaz qalander, whose mausoleum is visited by devotees throughout
the year, and was also one of the main reasons for our journey. |
