Multan

what are those guys up to?
We couldn't quite figure out what this procession was about, judging by the garb of the participants and their peaceful demeanor it seemed to be something religious. Once we got caught up in some political rally, hundreds of men squeezing through the narrow lanes of the old bazaar excitedly shouting some slogans, the only thing I understood was "sindabad", which means "long life". In Pakistan as in India, politics and violence often go hand in hand, so we were somewhat relieved when we managed to get away from the fray.
