Pakistan is plagued by political violence on a daily basis. Much tensions exist between different political and religious groups and between the original inhabitants of the area and the Mohajirs, the people that came to settle here during partition. Though my guess is that if it weren't for the polititians, the different groups would long ago have stopped fighting and settled back to live in peace with each.
