leaving the tomb of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi
On our second day in Karachi we payed a visit to the shrine of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi, the burial place of one of the most revered Sufi saints of Sindh, at the outskirts of town. Large numbers of devotees turn every day to the shrine to offer prayers. A friendly shopkeeper, a devout man with Sufic leanings whom we've had tea with at his shop in the bazaar, had adviced us to go there, he himself being a frequent visitor to that place. He'd also offered to accompany us, displaying the customary hospitality of the region.
